Good Samaritan Hospital announces the recipients of the annual "Physicians Making a Difference" recognition program. Ten physicians were chosen who demonstrate a commitment to the highest level of inpatient and outpatient care. These physicians are known for providing care that goes beyond medical treatment and reflects how their understanding of the healthcare needs of the whole person makes a positive difference in the lives of their patients. Honorees were selected from nominations based upon the qualities of trust, communication, appreciation, compassion, excellence, respect and responsiveness. The physicians were honored at a special luncheon. Donations were made by Good Samaritan Hospital in the physician's name to charities designated by the physicians. The honorees are:
